There are a lot of "witches" tales about this but, no real good advise that your allergist can't give you/
We chased around the country for many years tryimng everything for our daughter, who's now 35, to try and help her, a lot of money later and all to no avail.

Find a good allergist and stick with him/her, don't change unless necessayy and be patient.

buy "E for additives" by maurice hansen and jill marsden. asthma and allergies are dietary to a certain extent and the symptoms can be improved by avoiding processed foods as much as possible. fresh foods, home cooking, avoid anything bought in a packet. also consider an allergy/intolerance to milk(&milk products),eggs, pork. an easy way to see is to avoid these foods in his diet for 4 weeks, there should be a noticeable improvement in the first few weeks. hope this helps. email me if you have any questions..
