There are limits to what drug companies can give to MD's or their office staff. It's very common for drug rep's to buy lunch for an office staff quite often. They usually give out pens or stationary or tissue boxes and that type of thing to make their names present in the office. If they go beyond that then it's unprofessional and may even be illegal in some cases. It's possible that that goes on, but not in environments where the staff behaves professionally.

Not monetary, but kickbacks, yes. They can earn their way to "confences" in great places by writting so many RX's and also get free lunchs and dinners all the time.

Normally Doctors do not take, ho ever Black sheep's are every where. Some doctors take Cash some look for Other Considerations

its illegal if they do; however reduced prices and other such perks that don't have anything to do with the performance of the drug are allowed.
