Faith is defined in the bible as
(Hebrews 11:1)
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
While superstitions are practices which are not in the bible. They have no basis and should not even be thought about nor observe.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12
"10There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
11Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee."

Belief is the exact line between faith and superstition. Without this belief i don't think this two will prosper. It must emanate from the person before realizing faith and superstition. Acceptance of what you believe in is crucial in drawing the lines between the two.
Tough question! Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

Well, to have faith means a person believes something to be true.
Superstition is only a belief that certain happenings or events may cause other things to happen.
Faith and superstition are two completely different things to most people, but as with all things some people probably combine the two.

There's not an exact line: faith may be something in what you believe that adds to your life, giving you a little more hope even when facts says you're totally screwed.
Superstition something very dangerous that controls you with irrational fears

If someone has faith then they will live their life in accordance with that faith. Superstition does not require this level of commitment.
