Because there was never a historical Jesus. Even the writings of Paul (the first person to write about Christ)
always talks about an ethereal Jesus who descended onto Earth before there were people (where his death, the conclusion of separating Earth from Heaven and Hell, was on a tree).

Well so it goes...

His body will be visible again, don't worry...

After His death He rose from the dead...

"that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures," 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

And He ascended into heaven bodily and will return bodily...

"This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven." Acts 1:11

by the way, it is ignorant to claim Jesus was a fictional character. There is more evidence for the existence of Jesus in archeology than for Julius Caesar!

If you follow the account in the scriptures, after 3 days he appeared to his disciples and fellowshiped with them. He also appeared to over 40 people--sometimes they did not initially recognize him but examined his hands for the scars. Then he explained that he was going to his father to prepare a place for them and that he is leaving with them the gift of the Holy Spirit, he ascended into heaven to reign until his return. So, based on this and the description of how our mortal bodies will be changed into immortality in a twinkling of an eye......his mortal body was transformed, he arose and he is living in it today. So, we'll never find any such remains of Jesus.

The Bible's testimony is that these were removed by God or God's angels.

Christ did not rise in the flesh as some preach. This is in opposition to the scriptural teachings.

Copied from my by the Bible homepage:
^^^^^^^^
Christ was not resurrected a man, in the flesh -- since he had sacrificed his human body that was impossible. Instead, he was resurrected a spiritual being, a heavenly archangel. (1 Thess 4:16)

1 Cor 15:
50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; (Webster)
13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ risen. 14And if Christ has not risen, then our preaching is empty, and your faith is also empty.
35But some man will say, How are the dead raised, and with what kind of body do they come? (ACV)
40And there are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies: but different is the glory of the heavenly, different that of the earthly: (Darby)
44It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul, the last Adam [was made] a vivifying spirit. (Webster)

I Peter 3:18 for Christ indeed has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in flesh, but made alive in the Spirit, (Darby)

II Corinthians 5:16, So that henceforth we know no man according to flesh, and even if we have known Christ according to flesh, yet now we know him no longer. (ACV)

Was there a Jesus? His profile is not of an intelligent person like god, but of a moron who can't tell when it is the season for figs... and who gets very p-ssed -ff when he can't find figs in a fig tree when it is not the season for figs to the point of cursing the Hell of that fig tree until the poor tree witheres and dies on the spot! Comon... only a moron would act like that!

Well who says they arent, in your heart is where christ lies. Plus the cross where he was set would have been decomposed by now, and ever heard of the shroud of jesus. Its a burial cloth that they believe was of Jesus, it had an emobidiement picture of a man who looks like we think of Jesus. They did carbon dating and found out it was from 300 A.D. ish, but who said carbon dating actually works one mathematical error could throw it off. Plus if god really wanted us to see the remenance of christ we would.

In Roman Law it is said, QUOD NON EST NON APPARET. "Which that does not exist cannot be made to appear."
In our present law we have a principle the same to that ancient axiom which says "THE ABSENCE OF EVIDENCE IS AN EVIDENCE OF ABSENCE"
