i have this wart that has grown on the side of my thumb in the last 2 days. its pretty gross, and i have never had a wart problem before. i was wondering how you can get rid of them without seeing a doctor? can you use some kind of cream or solution? do you have to buy a cream from a pharamcy? or is freezing them or burning them etc the only way to get rid of it?

oh i know, they are so gross hey, i just wanna get rid of it, thanks for all suggestions, i know they are contagious, lol, so im being careful, i know its a virus, but i just wanted to know any ideas to get rid of them.. thanks everyone

I've found if you wrap duct tape around your finger and keep it on for a few days the wart will go away. Make sure you keep the area clean and fairly dry. Replace the piece of duct tape as needed. I'm serious it does work!

There are some preparations that you can buy at the pharmacy that contain salicylic acid. These sometimes work. Freezing the wart off is usually a good option. There are actually home freezing kits that you can use if you are sure that it's a "common" wart (the kit gives you instructions that you can use to figure this out). But the doctor can help you if you're not sure.

the way that person got the wart in the first place is skin to skin contact. but normal plantars warts have to be cut, or bleeding in order to get the stuff out of the wart that spreads. they are not the same as genital warts. so you might have lucked out. youll just have to wait

i think you can get this stuff called wartner or summin like that from the chemist it comes in a spray which can be easly applied and frezzes the warts and they drop off eventually :)

I believe Dr. Schols makes a wort remover that you can pick up probably at any supermarket or drug store, I have had no experience with it though. Good luck

split it open a little bit, and put sulfur on it from a match, burrie the match and when match is gone wart will be gone.

use the "freeze off" stuff , you can buy it at wal mart or any other drug store, its simple and it will be gone in no more than 2 days

you can buy compound w like at rite aids or cvs any drug store,just ask you pharmcis.
