I saved my powerpoint presentation on a flash drive and after I did my presentation and came back to look at my slides at my own computer with the same flash drive (I never saved any work on the hard disk) I found the presentation was older, work that I saved half way through my project.

Is there a way where I can restore it to see the final updated presntation?

If the presentation was complete when you presented it, then the one you have opened now is another file that you had on your flash and maybe the complete presentation is in a folder or has another name.
If instead your file has been accidentally deleted try a recovery tool like Undelete Plus or Directory-Snoop:

Good luck.
