Try to see other people as yourself. Realise that what you do to others will come back to you. Give love and compassion whenever you can.

Sometimes it helps to think of someone you really love (like your mother) and see the person who is hurting you as your mother.

Meditate. It will lower your stress levels and make you less likely to fly off the handle.

Sometimes, you just have to avoid other people who set you off. Do this out of compassion for them, because you don't want to upset them and make them angry at you, which would harm them in return.

Try to live an ethical life.

That's a tough thing to do and I have to practice patience and restraint every day. I ask for help in every prayer and try to remember that Shaytan comes in all forms..
