I am 19 years old, and born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. Both my parents were born an raised in Croatia, and moved here when they were in their 20s. I am thinking about studying in Croatia but the costs are very high for international students, so how would I go about gaining croatian citizen status?

Thankyou!

You are entitled to Croatian citizenship through your parents, I hope you speak Croatian and like standing in queues because you will spend a lot of time in the police station in Petrinska (if you are moving to Zagreb), you will need every piece of paperwork you can get, and you will need a copy of your birth certificate no older than six months old. You will also need to get all of these papers translated by a court sworn interpreter. Good luck!!
