Well its definatly Global Warming...the planet is getting warmer. But because the planet is getting hotter, this affects the climate. Doesn't mean to say that the climate is going to get warmer. It just affects the climate in general. It makes us have some pretty freaky *** weather. Remember all those Hurricanes that America suffered last year? Those where the result of Global Warming. Worse thunderstorms...yep. Global Warming.
But I just don't think humans should take all the blame. The Earth went through the same thing thousands of years ago. The world warmed up, the ice caps melted, the Earth cooled down, the ice caps froze. Its just that now we have all these fancy computers making predictions what's going to happen...just like 'The Day After Tomorrow'. C'mon. Global Warming has nothing to do with humans...well OK...it has something to do with humans, we DID speed up the process, but we didn't create it. What was going to happen was inevitable. It was going to happen anyway. We just made it happen quicker. ^_^

The people who believe in climate change are quite consistent with their arguments, increased co2 will lead to average increases in the world temperature, its happening now and its a big problem.
Sceptics on the other hand JUST IN THIS ANSWER are all over the place. It can't be happening because I'm freezing, not really a compelling argument. Its a scam because we live in a cold period, yes we live in a cold period but this does not give a argument either way that humans are causing climate change. Can't be true because celebrities are making it up for some fashion reasons, who cares what they say lets ask the scientists as you say, never ever have so many stuffy scientific bodies ever come out with such strong warmings in history, of course you can get individual scientists with opposing views but the vast majorities think we are all at risk . Lastly climate change can't make some areas warmer and some areas colder, why can't a complex system like the earth's climate do this when the climate is changing?

Yes, there is a great danger of One World Government here. Seeing which countries are excluded from Kyoto, one could easily suggest it benefits the communist ones, the very ones in favor of world government. The case for or against man made global warming I leave to the scientists. The politics of Kyoto seems racist as it unfairly targets mostly White nations while giving Black and Asian nations a free pass. I and most conservatives agree that we need stricter environmental laws, but for all nations equally. This way way we can still be equal trading partners. There is no reason to believe that this 10,000-year-old cycle of solar-induced warming and cooling will change. Dr. Sallie Baliunas, an astrophysicist with the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and one of the nation's leading experts on global climate change, believes that we may be nearing the end of a solar warming cycle. Since the last minimum ended in 1715, Baliunas says there is a strong possibility that the Earth will start cooling off in the early part of the 21st Century. Liberal "Kyoto Treaty types" always give the communist Chinese a free pass. China has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on their military and offensive space-based weapons but cannot afford Kyoto? I wonder if having the worlds largest army has anything to do with it?

Global warming doesn't mean the temperature is always and everywhere increasing, it means the MEAN temperature is increasing, which also means there can be increasing extremes about that mean.
Note: Global warming is NOT based on computer predictions, this is completely wrong. It is evidence-based. The last few years have been the warmest in recorded history, and the warmest by proxy measures too. Computer models are used to predict how global warming will affect the earth, and these computer models are calibrated and validated by testing them against known historical datasets. You can likewise use computer models to predict the epidemiology of diseases like chickenpox, but that does not mean that chickenpox does not exist!

There's many theories floating around the North Atlantic. This is a recurring event. It's all in the mantle, my friend.
This concept that man is the cause gives us way too much importance's that's not deserving. Mother Nature controls and rules. Look to the magnetic shift and, the mantle's rotation for your answer. The true story is written in the snow.
Now..I was amazed to realize that: The coastal line along the entire Eastern Seaboard of North America once extended 40 miles beyond the current shore lines. For me, that's a true indicator of an Ice Age~!

Being cold is all part of global warming, notwithstanding that is a contradiction. Due to global warming, the polar ice caps melt. That puts a large volume of cold water into the system of currents which surround the globe. As a consequence of that, the Gulf Stream (a current of warm water emanating from the Gulf of Mexico - hence its name) is diverted further south from its intended destination and as a consequence of that Northern Europe is plunged into a colder climate that we have previously been used to - hence you're freezing.
I hope that answers and explains why you're feeling cold.

Global freezing would be another ice age but as the polar ice is receding, this is definitely global warming.

Global warming is a global scam.
For most of the Earth's history, there has been no ice on Earth at all. We are actually living in a cold period.
They are basing the whole global warming thing on computer generated "predictions" and they have no evidence whatsoever to support their claims.
I'm not saying pollution isn't a problem, just that global warming doesn't exist, that's all.
It's actually colder now than it was 1,000 years ago, we are still recovering from the "Mini Ice-Age" that occurred in the 19th century.

Global warming could theoretically cause a second ice age if it melts the polar ice caps.
