Whole Foods/Harry's normally have blocks cut from the 10 pound slabs (usually Barry Calabut).

Candyland Crafts has Merkins real chocolate (not the fake stuff) in various sizes), its a favorite of a lot of people.

they also have some other brands.

if you are just baking with it there is no need to temper the chocolate but if you are going to be covering things (enrobing) you'll need to temper it. Instructions on tempering can be found at

The bakers catalog/King Arthur's flour has many types of chocolate, some made for candy making/enrobing:

other made for baking:

The 'Chocolate Source" has many different types of baking and candy making bars:

The Resturant Depot also sells 10 pound blocks, but you will need some type of business licence to get in the door.

You didn't say exactly what you were making so thats the best I can do.

Good luck

You might like the selection at

http://www.kingarthurflour.com

They have a huge variety of chocolate types and all sorts of baking supplies and equipment.

Or you can check out Chocosphere, which specializes in chocolate: http://www.chocosphere.com/cgi-bin/webstore/web_store.cgi

I recommend Callebaut brand chocolate, which is a favorite of professionals, and reasonably priced.

maybe bulkfoods.com
or contact some local bakeries and ask if you can purchase some hunks of their chocoloate.
