It depends on what it is. It's usually hard for me to ask for favors.

I ask but don't always receive. People are either very giving or very selfish and self-centered. My spirit walk gives and enjoys doing so. If I really need help, I ask my soulmate who will do anything for me. There was a time when I had to walk three miles to work one way each day. Calling and asking for rides when the weather was miserable outside was a real eye opener. Sad, but ah, so true.

I learned a long time ago not to ask for anything because I wasn't going to get it. Emotionally, I learned to handle everything the best I could on my own. Now, it has been that way for so long that I still find it hard to ask. I still try to work it all out on my own. I know in my heart that I can ask now and would get that help, but change is not always easy.
When it comes to needing a helping hand, I am still relying on myself. Asking for help doesn't seem to get me anywhere, so why ask.

I know that Goddess willl happily provide me exactly what I need, all on her own, without me having to even ask for it. However, I ask as a matter of politeness. I prefer to ask before taking simply out of love and respect for Deity. It's a matter of politeness rather than absolute requirement.

NEVER!!
Maybe this is why I am constantly overwhelmed but I refuse to ask for anything.
If I have asked you for something then I must know you VERY well. I won't ask for comfort, I feel like people who know me should sense when I need them.
Pride causes us to do silly things does it not?

*Hope you are feeling better dear*

If I need the salt, I have no qualms about asking "Can you pass the salt please?".

But when it's something close to my heart or very emotional or personal...then I start to find it a lot harder to ask for what I need.

((((((Moon))))))) I wish you a speedy recovery hon.

For as much as it is possible people should be self sufficient ,carrying ones own load , and not burdening others.

Galatians 6:4-5 . . . 'But let each one prove what his own work is, and then he will have cause for exultation in regard to himself alone, and not in comparison with the other person. For each one will carry his own load.'

However , especially in matters that can affect our spirituality or our relationship with the true God Jehovah , we can request things in prayer.

Philippians 4:6-7 . . .'Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let YOUR petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard YOUR hearts and YOUR mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.'

I feel greedy asking anything from anybody, especially YHWH.
The only thing I ask from G-d is that my loved ones be happy in life.

Only when i feel powerless and beyond fear.
Sometimes I ask for other things but simple prayers for family and everyone's families, the dead etc.
