I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for more than 4 months. He is my first bf. I am in my 20's (i waited a long time to meet the right one).
I went to kiss him last night, he said that the guys should be the ones to make the move to kiss. I just cant stop kissing him - its all new and fun.
So what are everyones views on kissing. I do know at the begining of any relationship people kiss more than talking. The so called honeymoon phase.

It works both ways, some people really don't see it this way, It doesn't mean he is a bad guy or any thing, he just believes in hardcore chivalry where the guy makes the first move all the time.
I prefer a girl who isn't afraid to make the first move, because I have this silly quirk to where it is hard for me to tell if the girl wants me to kiss her or not, I normally end up making the first move anyhow but I prefer a girl who isn't afraid to take the first step, I don't like to rush girls on anything because it runs them off and makes them feel uncomfortable. And you guys sound sweet, you sound like a good girl waiting so long, there should be more like you, then there would be less slutty girls, gah i cant stand slutty girls :-). He is a lucky dudeee.

Well it is fine for a girl to make the first move into a kiss. I did that with my boyfriend and he said that it was sexy that i did that. I guess that is a good compliment. But most guys really enjoy it when us girls do stuff like that which in most cases is really hot to them. So if your guy dosent like it when you do stuff like that then i can suggest to either confront him about that or get a new boyfriend on last result.

Ideally, it would be a mutual "move." But, no, I don't think guys should necessarily be the only ones to make the first move.

Its totally fine for me if not more awesome if girls make th emove, then i know they really want to. He sounds like hes making up stuff that isnt there. Yeah you did wait to meet the right one, gratz on bf, and yes, my girl gets peeved at me for kissing to much also, your not the only one, lol.

girls can make the moves with kissing too. not that it really matters. if he still lets you make moves with your kissing then dnt worry bout it.

I think guys should initiate. Maybe you are moving too fast for him or maybe he just likes to be in control.
