johnusma, proverbs 16.4 makes perfect sense. and im glad u appreciate me asking. i want to understand all i can, i love god as much as u, but to truly understand wat god stands is t ask questions. as the proverb says the brain is a perfect creation, it gives the mind t think and ask, and answer. that im sure is wat god wants from all of us. which religion is right? ide say each religion disagrees with the next. my purpose over next year is to learn and understand as much as i can about all religion. and t learn more and more about god. and if wat i think at this time is true. i will learn a bit from each religion, and then i will find the ultimate religion. That being god. faith in god. love is the answer t all. love god in your heart. and he will find u and save u.

i also wish to ask do u really feel it is best t push your religion on t som1. surely they will find god wen there time is right. dont any of u regardless of religion think that pushing your faith onto sombody means they could then say they have faith in god but havnt. and then you as gods messangers have forced a person t lie about god.

checkmat, you have an opinion, just like us all, and i respect as much as i respect the next persons opinion. i dont expect u or anyone else t believe in god. i do and im happy with my beliefs, but im interested in others beliefs. ive been athiest b4. only 3 year ago i found god. but i want t understand each persons belief as they believe. i wouldnt knock u for not having faith like i wouldnt nock, a muslim, jehovah, christian, jew and so ons faith. remember god loves us all. so we should love each other like he loves us, and wont the world be a much better place?

There are thousands of different religions that claim to be Christian, yet there was only one Christ.
Jehovah's Witnesses are true Christians. They live the way Christ live. They believe all the things Christ taught. The best place to go for reliable information about Jehovah's Witnesses is to visit their website, or to speak with one when they come to your door.
Here is an article from their website that discusses their beliefs. If you click on the Scriptures in blue, it will take you to a verse. Thanks for being respectful!

I do not think that it is right to push your beliefs onto someone. Jehovah's Witnesses do not do that. Instead, rather than push, we OFFER. We go to people's homes and offer to teach them the Bible. If they do not want us there, then we leave peacefully. We do this because it is a command from the Bible. Jesus said "Go, therefore, and make disciples". (Matthew 28:19, 20; see also Acts 5:42) The Bible also says; "Preach the word, be at it urgently" (2 Timothy 4:2). The preaching work is the tool that God uses to bring people to Him. Jehovah's Witnesses feel that what they teach can lead a person to salvation, assuming the person applies what he learns. Hence, it is a moral duty to tell others about their faith.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe and work to live by the entirety of the bible, and do not ignore those passages which seem personally inconvenient.
Jehovah's Witnesses are relatively unique among self-described Christians in that they understand the Scriptures to teach that God's Kingdom by Christ Jesus is a real government which will soon replace all earthly governments.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
That Kingdom will rule over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire
While a limitted number of humans will be resurrected to heaven to share in ruling over mankind, the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]
Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

It takes a bible study to understand what we believe.
Just a few lines here would not explain it.
Studying the bible is a good thing. Everyone should do it.

JW do not pick and choose what they wish to believe from the Bible. As 2 Tim. 3:16, 17 says: "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."
JWs reject Christmas because it is a pagan holiday. Blood transfusions are out because of Acts 15:28, 29: ": “The holy spirit and we ourselves [the governing body of the Christian congregation] have favored adding no further burden to you, except these necessary things, to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled [or, killed without draining their blood] and from fornication. If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper. Good health to you!” (There the eating of blood is equated with idolatry and fornication, things that we should not want to engage in.)

True Christians accept the full bible and also if they say anything or prophecies it will come true if it comes from God. Jehovah's witnesses may be very nice people but there prophets seem not to be getting things right and must be listening to the wrong voices. Any prophecy from God will come true
