That's been asked seven times, here, now.
There *is* an answer, and an odd one at that:

It's one of these peculiar facts lodged in my brain.
The question of bacterial contamination of operating theatres from farting has been examined, and it was demonstrated, by experiment, that for practical purposes normal underwear acted quite adequately as a bacterial filter but that a fart without underwear, under a surgical gown, was liable to allow live bacteria to contaminate a wider area.
No, I'm not kidding, and I apologise if that's in the "way too much information" category.

I'm not a doctor but there are some fart gases could infect the eye, even from a pillow.

yeah, i had it happen last night to me. really odd: my hamster farted on my pillow (you can imagine how little came out of this animal) and i woke up with pink eyes...yes, two eyes affected.

pink eye is a bacterial infection, you can get it it someone who has pink eye SLEEPS on your pillow.. farting on the other hand....

not unless they had some of the pink eye goop on their but, and got it on your pillow. if the goop from the pink eye rubbed on your pillow you could get it from resting your head on the pillow

No.... You only get pink eyes when you touch ur eyes with your hands when they are dirty...... or there is to much dust around
