I would like to be able to use my dvd player on my computer.Any suggestions?

Get the specific name of your DVD player and update the firmware from the Manufacturers website or search to Google.

If youre DVD player worked, and you havent changed any programs, it would probly just be that your DVD player has broke down. This would likely be if youre computer is old.

If your dvd-drive works tho, you could try VLC-player. Thats free if I remembe correctly...
Assuming youre using windows.
