When you see them at the shops or in the city streets, Do you walk past fast and say " you are not interested, or busy" or do you stop and listen and maybe donate a dollar or two?. Why?

The reason i ask is i might be applying for a wildlife/ envionmental campainer. I love animals and i need a job really bad and arnt having much luck with anything else.

I never donate to people campaigning on the street. if it is an interesting cause i get the information and check out the organization first, at guidestar or BBB. If you are interested in working for a charity as such a campaigner, make sure you also first check out the organization and see how much of the money raised actually goes to the cause you want to support. A really good organization should be putting at least 75% of the funds raised directly towards the cause and only 25% to 'overhead' or other administrative costs.
