The irony is you would not be able to comprehend you were dead unless you were alive...

Not at all,, because death is another inevitable ocurrence that may come anytime and there is no such thing as afterlife, this is life now that we are experiencing on earth,,this is all about it..once death enters, then judment comes.......and for the obedient ones they will enjoy all the furits of heaven, and the rest who were diobedient will somehow find a way to be cool or cold...ebcause the Heaven's air is far from then and where they are is where Stan rules..............this is no kohe, everyone knows this!!! so what is the surprise all about,,,I just know that once one dies he face his Creator, he will be judged and will either go to Hell or Heaven..............

If there is no afterlife, how could you feel surprised? No afterlife means eternally dead. Eternally dead means no consciousness, no thought, no nothing! You cant feel surprised if you can't feel at all.. BTW-there IS an afterlife, so the question is irrelevant.

So I die and there is no afterlife. Which means when I died I ceased to exist. How am I supposed to feel surprise in my non-existence?
When you die and are face to face with Jesus will you feel surprised?

Boy will my face be red. j/k lol
I'm not sure if I will be surprised. I really have no reservations for an afterlife, as I don't know what's really beyond death

Your question doesn't make sense, because if there is no afterlife, you are just plain dead, so you can't feel anything

Kind of a contradictory question.
Anyway, I can't wait to go to the other side and see my loved ones that have already passed on.
Love and God Bless

No, I'll be dead.
Seems kind of a shame, though...I'd love to see the looks on the faces of theists when nothing happens.

I'll feel horrified, because I know there isn't one and I'm counting on anti-aging devices of the future to save me from such a horrible fate.
I'm dead serious.
