You can. But you must have a parent sign your contract as well.

With the reserves it is pretty frequent to see 17 year olds taking basic between their Junior and Senior year of high school.

If you go active, you can't finish high school, you will be active.

Yes, I went to Marine Corps boot camp right when I turned 17. I didn't have my high school diploma, but I get have a GED. And, I regret it very much. I couldn't legally drink the entire time I was in the Marines. Imagine that.

General Enlistment

General enlistment is at least a four-year commitment, depending on your Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). Recruits are expected to have a high school diploma along with a satisfactory Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) score. New recruits must also meet minimum standards for fitness and strength.

Delayed Entry Program

The Marine Corps also has a Delayed Entry Program, which allows you to enlist up to one year before they graduate from high school. I don't beleive you do any training before graduation.

No. You have to be a high school grad. You can enlist with parent permission at age 17 but will not be shipped off to bootcamp until after you graduate. Academically, it's a little harder to get into the corps than some of the other services.

nope. must have the HS diploma in hand (and parental permission) before you can ship.

Marines do not offer Split Option Training, only the Army Reserves does.
