Torah is the Hebrew name of the "5 Books of Moses," "Pentateuch" is Greek based and a common name among Christian sources for the same books, but is not often used by Jewish sources... http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Torah has a "pronunciation key" to help you pronounce it correctly. (They have audio as well, but you have to subscribe to get it.)
Forty... seems to be thinking of the Talmud, which is the "commentary" they describe.

Contact a Jewish Rabbi for clarification, but I understand the Law of Moses as the first five books of the Old Testament also called the Pentatuach. There is also a book of commentaries on the Law called the Torah.

Halacha? That is what Laws are called. I think this is what you are talking about.
You can get texts full of Halacha's like the Mishna Brura (not to be confuesed with the Mishna the first part of the Talmud) or the Shulchan Arukh
It is part of the Oral law or Torah She bal Peh.
