Ive always wanted to join the Marines and go to do my part in Iraq as an Infantryman but for my own reasons but my cousin recently told me that I can actually get money for doing this is this true?

when you join the Marines you dont do it for the money you do it for the pride. all other services give bigger bonuses than the Marines( at least for the most part)

Hazard pay will be added to a Marine assigned in Iraq over and above the regular salary.

You can get an enlistment bonus in addition to your regular pay.

I don't know about the Marines, but the Army is offering an extra 20K if you will leave in a week.

is $ 1301 a month after 4 months. No one in the military works for free.

It is true, but you can get money for enlisting in any branch of service right now. you can also get money based on what job you choose to do.
