yes and practice of prayer is most important. Ever feel like you are just saying the words but not pouring out the emotion that should be attached well in Jewish thought you must practice to learn how to pray. So you can offer these blessings. I feel once a week I must just recoup though. I need a day I can just shut off, no tv,work, though etc. I dream more on this day and it's like I upload and download my software update, oh that what a bad analogy but I'm sleepy.

Yes it always does for me. Even in the middle of friends, in pain as in our dying time we always are alone in the universe... except for that Someone, if you believe in Him. He'll listen, he's there. Sometimes he'll even send you something pretty to uplift your life. You'll feel it! And, of course, wording your problems in a prayer or to a friend always help you to regain energy. So if you have faith, talk/pray to this Friend! :)

No, prayer does nothing. But you can try to find the source of your stressed-out situation. It can sometimes be created by your environment you work or live in.
If you can recognize the source you can solve the problem much easiier. Avoid the drugs unless you really need them.
Many depressions can be brought on by constant failure to achieive goals or continuous failures in love, high bills you can't pay off, etc
.

A genuine commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ would go a long way toward helping you with these things.

I find that time alone helps. And taking deep breaths. But mostly some time alone. Being able to relax and be by myself *is* spiritual to me. But that's just me. If prayer works for you, then yay! But whatever you do, breath deeply and take some alone-time. That'll recharge you.
