pink eye...?

if i go to the doctor tomorrow afternoon, and they tell me that i have pink eye, will it be not-so-pink by friday evening?

It takes at least a week sometimes two. The antibiotics need 5-7 days to take effect. This might sound silly but it's a homeopathic remedy: boil some chamomile tea (two tea bags) (steep for 3min) Let them cool slightly and place the tea bags on your eyes. (5-10 min) When they have gone cold the liquid should have cool enough to touch...use a washcloth and drip the tea into the corners of your eyes.(It should be warm) The tea soothes the itching and reduces redness and swelling. Just make sure it is pure chamomile tea. Good Luck!
