Is this means that my child is taking too much sugar and this is not good for his health. Are glucose sugar?

Yes glucose is sugar.
No, it is NOT a good substitute for plain water.
Yes, too much glucose is bad for his health. And it will rot his teeth as well.

Unless your doctor told you to do this- DO NOT DO IT!

There are a dozen bad things that can result from this. It is not even a good idea to use too much sweetened juice, or for older kids to drink a lot of pop (flavored sugar water).

Besides- plain water satisfies thirst better than sugar water does- sugar water just makes you thirsty again.

I would limit glucose drinks in a young child.

Sooooo, why the heck would you do this?

Especially at nighttime, you are really setting your kid up for terribly misformed/deformed/cavitied teeth. Not to mention possible systemic effects...plus it wont have the thirst quenching quality of plain water.

I won't encourage it. It's better for your child to stick to water. Babies milk teeth is vulnerable.
