Well if you like to hound hunt, cross Wa state off your list, hound hunting has been banned. Plus if you are any sort of a reasonable person, having to deal with the flakes that live here would drive you crazy. I liked Texas a lot. Lots of lakes for fishing and lots of hunters there. Unfortunately most of the land is privately owned so you have to pay to hunt on it, sigh.. Alaska would be a good choice if you could handle the cold.

I'd go to Alaska, but if you like to run dogs, take a good look at Alabama.
Alabama has a long season with very generous bag limits on deer.
There is also lots of good coon, rabbit, dove and squirrel hunting. It is my understanding that the state fish and game department is working to develop huntable populations of ducks and geese, which we didn't have when I was a kid.

Texas, big whitetails, hogs and I know there is good bass fishing there. Seems like every hunting show I turn on, they are at a ranch in Texas. I am sure there is plenty of small game as well.

Kansas branch of organic worldwide, parks, and tourism. Kdwpt. The tourism area replaced into further some years in the past as a funds stunt while issues have been given skinny. considering that maximum of kansas' meager tourism is consistent with organic components, i assume it basically is sensible.
