Maybe she will have fun just being with you and your friends. Some people don't think alcohol makes things more fun.

My husband doesn't drink and he drinks those J20 drinks you can buy in individual bottles. The Apple and raspberry one is the best. You can get those Schwepps Twist drinks too. Ame does sparkling grown up soft drinks with herbs. Schloer is a grape drink in large bottles too but it is quite sweet. I would avoid non alcoholic wine such as Eisberg because it tends to give you a headache for some reason. You could make some non alcoholic cocktails - or try making mulled grape juice, it's really lovely.

Well, if she wants to look like everyone else, instead of walking around with a mineral water with a twist, you can serve her "mocktails" which are the mixers without alcohol. Instead of Bloody Mary, nix the vodka, but serve it with the same celery stick and hot sauce. Or if you think she'd like a strawberry daiquiri just don't put rum in it. Most mixed drinks and "chick drinks" (hey I don't drink, but I love the margarita mix without the tequila in it - or is it rum) it's like a limeade slurpee. I can't tell much difference between a cocktail and mocktail, until later... I don't throw up on my shoes when I drink mocktails... and most people can't tell a difference, of they're really honest. You can mix her a tequila sunrise without the tequila, they're still pretty and non-inebriating.

Susan is right. I don't drink either. The fun I have has nothing to do with drinking. In fact I don't understand why people think that's so "fun". Just being with people I enjoy is enough. It'll probably be the same for your friend.

I don't drink and I get enjoyment from being around good friends and the atmosphere of the party and great music. I'm sure she wouldn't come if she felt uncomfortable so go ahead and just plan like you would anyways xx

You can make her a fancy non-alcoholic cocktail.

Lemonade, Coca cola, OJ, a selection of J2O (Sainsbury's does its own brand, cheaper and as good).

Perhaps a couple of different flavours of Squash and fizzy water, makes a nice combination.

Also try to find out what's her favourite by asking somebody who knows her well.

Tea, Coffee, Fruit Juices, Soft Drinks. I don' think you'll have to go out of your way too much. Most of the beveridges you more than likely have.

If your friend does not drink, then she is not your friend. Why won't she celebrate with you? I think she may be too stuck up and thinks that she is better than you and your real friends. You should still invite her but make her the designated driver/bartender for the evening. In the meantime, do your best to find another person to be your friend to replace her.
It is your party and if she does not want to have a good time, it is not your fault and you should not worry about her.
Good times!!!
