you can't change the shape of a muscle that is determined by genetics. a muscle are attached to bone via tendons on both ends. exercise can only cause a muscle to hypertrophy or a lack of exercise or illness can cause a muscle to atrophy.

tendon length determines the size of muscle bellies. long tendons cause short muscle bellies which can be strong but not optimum for growth.

to increase the size of your calves you have to train them at a very high intensity (higher than the bodyweight) with short rest period inbetween sets, no more than 20 seconds.
