Do Muslims really want to befriend infidels (kaffir?) or do they just pretend? I know in the Koran it says.?

not to be friends with Christians and Jews, but many Muslims say that was just in "context" of a particular time. Why then are Muslims in the Ramadan section giving thumbs up to an answerer who says not to befriend them or celebrate their holidays? Are true Muslim feelings being shown in Ramadan because they don't think many non-Muslims go in there? Or is this just another "radical" Muslim?

Ray - decent people don't have problems with Holidays. You're a decent guy. I'm Christian and have celebrated Hanukkah, and other Jewish Holidays, with my friends and sister-in-law and I'm still a Christian, lol. I think you're right about him being a true Muslim. He said not everyone follows Islam correctly.

Majeed - Your answer is horrible! Nowhere did I say anything about hating Muslims, yet you automatically make that assumption. Why are we not allowed to criticize and question Muslims or Islam without you (and others) naturally equating it to hate? Is it because that is what your religion teaches? It's funny that you feel we all hate you simply because we don't like your belief, but we are not allowed to think you hate us because Muslims are killing infidels and telling us to convert or die. Does that make sense to you? A Muslim used the quote, and if it's out of context that is their doing, although the answerer said it's what Muslims should do!

You and other Muslims have to realize that non-Muslims do not have to like Muhammad or the things he did. We really don't care how you pray or who you worship as long as you leave us alone to worship as we wish.

Some Muslims do, some don't. Many Muslims who are thought peaceful turn out to be terrorists. One Muslim who was an "outspoken critic of violence" turned out to be an ardent terrorist in disguise. Many Muslims simply pretend to be your friend so you will not recognize the violence of Islam and they can continue their terrorist actions without us knowing.
As I say however, although Islam tells them not to (see verse below), many Muslims really do want to make friends with non-Muslims.

Really? I understand there are massive, violent Muslim riots in Europe. Is that “good for economy”?
The reason the U.S.A. let’s Muslims in is because the Muslims you are referring to come from hell-holes (such as the primitive nation of Iran).
Muslims won’t allow firemen to save schoolgirls because the schoolgirls are not dressed in the traditional Muslim garb! It’s because they are HELPING THE MUSLIMS- not the reverse.

I am a Muslim. I have never deed that. I am a friend to any body whether during the month of Ramadan or Not. My principle is as in Al-Qur'an Surah "Al-Kafirun"

My friends, those who are none Muslims be as what they are. They worship what they belief. I worship what I belief. In the month of Ramadan, I am fasting in day time and at night doing the Tarawih Prayers. They understand and does not disturb me. They know I am Fasting in the month of Ramadan and never invites me for any food or meal. I see no reason why I can't be their friend or they can't be my friends.

This verse is not meant that way, it means not to be friends with Christian and Jews against other Muslims, when these Christians and Jews are making war to Muslims we shouldn't become friends with them, only when they're living in peace with us then we can be their friends, I think that makes sense, you don't become friends with enemies.

There is a line in to koran that stipulates that it is forbidden to be agressive towards people of God. It list 3 or for different religions: Christians, jews, Zoastrians and something else I do not recall.

So there our employer doesn't have problem with us. as long as he needs us. We are citizens of USA. Our children are born and raised here. USA is their home. They are not going any where. And they will not melt in your pot either because your people always express hatred to Muslims. We are faithful to our wives and good to our neighbors. Our children always excell in education and stay away from drinking and drugs. With good things in our religion and in our culture, we are showing Americans the right way of life and some are appreciating and adapting our religion, our way of life and are improving their lives. So we will remain here and keep doing our job in this society quitely showing others the good way of life that leads to unity in family life and happiness amongsts siblings without fights for little material things. Our children show other students in schools how to be respectful to their teachers and to keep a distance with opposite sex by not dating and practicing sex in school life and how to be good students.
