I am from southeren california and would like to go to nashville tenesse for the country music marathon. I know I will have to fly to get there, but then from there whats the best and cheapest way to stay by either Centennial Park or The Coliseum because either the starting line or the finish line is where I would like to stay for the race. The other thing I want to know is what is the cheapest fair to get to my hotel coming from the airport I know it can get expensive to take the cab is there subways to take that are cheaper. As you can tell im not familiar in the area but would like some guide on how to get there and stay for the event. Please if anyont can help me out I would appreciate it, I got months to plan ahead.

A lot of times the official website (especially for big events) will have lodging information. You can also try kayak.com (LOVE that website). Check the city website for transit information.
