ok so i bought a new laptop and it has microsoft 2007. the trial ended and i have a microsoft 2003 cd with it's code. so can i use the 2003 code for the 2007?

No you cannot use an office 2003 product key for Office 2007. Office 2007 is an entirely different program and the keys are not compatible with each other.

If you have already installed office 2003 you can activate that product and get it working properly on your system, but you won't be able to read any of the files by default that you have created in Office 2007 from inside office 2003. There is a file converter on Microsoft's website that you can download from the downloads page however that will convert it to a useable file for Office 2003.

If you want to keep using Office 2007, unfortunately it's time to go buy it or switch to a free software like OpenOffice to do your work in.

No, you cannot. Microsoft wouldn't ever make any money if they allowed free upgrades. I can easily see why you would think that however, but I'm sorry, they won't work.

You can find those keys for free online with the older programs like 2003, but the new Vista version (2007) is too new to do that. Plus, it's illegal.

If you're looking for a cheaper version, try 2007 Student Edition. =)

why buy ms office 2007 at all.... When you can have a better office system for free...

download Open Office 2.3 for free.. it is better than ms 2007 and you can do more with open office,, save all your files in any format you want,

You have everything office 2007 has and mor besides..

download it from the web link below.. make sure you download the one for windows..
