I feel really ashamed about this and a loser too. I am almost 20, never had a girlfriend, still a virgin, all I've done is kiss. Am I the only one like this?, I bet there are none or almost no people out there, whether they are male or female, that have never had a boyfriend/girlfriend and still a virgin while they are in their second year of college. The second semester is going to start in January and I feel pathetic that I have no dating experience. Yes, I have seen The 40 Year Old Virgin and in no way do I act like Steve Carrell in that movie. I do not collect action figures, I do not ride a bike. Almost everyone has had a boyfriend/girlfriend and sexual experience while in high school and as a teenager, before 20. Seriously, are there any people out there my age or older that are in my situation?, it would really make me feel better since I have people to relate to and I hope I can make you people feel better too that are in the same situation as me. Man, it's just so unfair.

Prostitutes do not count for me.

I'm a 20 year old college sophomore and have never kissed a girl or had a girlfriend either. The secret is confidence and high self esteem. I'm actually very good looking and get lots of stares from the ladies, however with very low confidence I get nowhere and as a result, I've just learned to be indifferent to everything. My one friend is fat and very ugly, yet he dated a very hot girl for a long time because he portrays confidence. Maybe you have social anxiety (which is what I have), or something along those lines? A psychologist may be able to help you out with anything you might have, as well as antidepressants. I'm not into prescription drugs myself, but it's a suggestion. Self help books may be good too. Get in a good mood and get some confidence and you'll achieve what you want. Good luck.

my ex boyfriend was 21, and still a virgin, and my brother, and a few of his friend were also your age, and still virgins so there are plenty of guys who are in the same situation as you. Its nothing that should make you feel like a loser, I know every guy that I have met so far that is still a virgin, and your age are actually really cool guys so there isnt anything at all wrong with it... when the time is right it'll happen, until you shouldnt worry about it :)

I think you shouldn't compare yourself to others because there are lots of people who haven't had sex at age 20 for different reasons. I think that you should ask yourself why you feel so bad about it. Is it because others are doing it or because you truly want to do it? And not having sex definitely does not make you a loser. It actually says something about you. That you have self control and aren't willing to sleep with just anyone.

By the way, I'm 21 and I've had a boyfriend but I've never had sex.

I know someone that is 22 and still a virgin and two guys that didn't lose their's until 20-21. You are not alone. It's just not as common. It's not a bad thing either.

Come on now, you're not the only one. I myself am 17 years old, in my last year in high school and still a virgin, and I'm proud of it! Maybe your focus should be redirected to find someone to love you, and who you can truly love back, and have strong feelings for each other. Sex isn't the only thing a relationship has to offer.

No you are not a loser you are far from it!!

At least you are not going around getting girls pregnant.

Thats good your a virgin should be proud.

I know a lot of girlfriends who are in college are virgins and everyone is fine with it.

I'm 26, male, single, virgin by choice, had 3 GFs, made out a million times, endured ridicules from friends, fought temptations - WHY?

Because I want to keep my virginity for the wedding day!

Pull it together. being a virgin is not good, and only makes it more painful when the person you give "it" to dumps you on your head. go find someone (it doesn't even matter if you don't like them) to make ya feel better.

You better get some soon. Don't listen to these dweebs. You're not getting younger. These are your prime years. Sex is GREAT!
