I've been wondering about what slimming centers actually do and if they really work. Are they better than exercising? I've been doing some jogging but I haven't lost any weight, though my butt is slightly smaller =)

Forget the slimming centers.
At the end of the day. weight loss comes down to calories. You need to burn more that you eat. Exercise does burn calories, but for real weight loss you need to limit your intake.
