I probably would have said yes before but last year I split up with my girlfriend for a couple of months and in that time she was friends with about five guys that were all interested in her and nothing happened and she stopped talking to them after a couple of weeks saying they were idiots and then we got back together. (I know nothing happened because I live with her in a student flat and she never really went out.) These guys tried stuff but she didn't want anything to do with it, she chose me, knowing full well who I was, even after having loads of other guys after her. I think thats the only real way you can not be afraid of that, if they leave you and then realise that there is no one more compatible with them and come back to you.

I am going through this very anxiety right now before I even got to this question I started crying. I fear what may have happened a year ago when our relationship was rocky. Although I have asked if anything has happened of course he denies anything happened, but deep down inside I know something had to. Nobody is that perfect.
