We live in Cincinnati Ohio and no one will give our son a chance to work for them. He is smart and sharp. Is there anyone who will give him a break and see what I mean. Thanks, a desperate Mom.

I think he is going to have to do that for himself. Unfortunately, it would not look good for a grown man seeking a job to have his mother intervene. Perhaps there are social services for the blind in the area tthat have resources such as job placement and career skills workshops that can help him secure a position.

I think that's discrimination if they're not hiring him only because he's blind. I think that you need to ask each place he applies to what is the main reason they did not hire him. If they say because he's blind, I suggest you get a lawyer. Good luck with the job search, I know he can find a great job!

God bless!
