Have you ever had a question deleted because it "violated community guidelines?"
Mine was.
It was about God.
What ever happened to freedom of speech and religion? I think we should all respect each others views, but of course that will never happen..

I had a link to Youtube..that might've been it. But the guidlines said links are alright if it delt with the topic, and wasnt spam or anything. It was a video of a youth groups performance to Everything- by lifehouse. I said God is great, etc. Go look it up, it's life changing! i would include the link, but you know what happened last time..

No, but I've had answers deleted that were perfectly legit. I protested and basically got the "we can do what we want, when we want, and we don't have to tell you why" answer.
Welcome to life on Y!A. We don't have freedom of speech here, really. To use Yahoo's site, we agree to abide by their rules.

I think Yahoo gets tired of playing baby sitter for the atheist and Christians. one gets mad at the other and pow, verooom. the report button. LOL kinda funny, as most are here for the argument, it's Yahoos most heated section in answers.

Amen Sister! Praise the Lord.
Yahoo Answers has decided to play the part of God on Religion and Spirituality. A very evil and judgemental God at that.

yes I have...
but, it is to be expected. YA is private corporate property. Freedom of speech is null and void on private property which is why they can have an acceptable use policy, and why they can delete whatever they want.

Sorry to hear your question was deleted. According to a lot of posters that is beginning to be the norm around here.
I might email you for the link.
God bless you. †

I've been reported for answers that I felt were honest answers and I couldn't and still can't see anything wrong with them. I do wonder what you asked, but anyone can report, and I don't think they really check into every report to see if it is legit.

I get so many violations... it isn't even funny.
Most often, I do not think they are valid. Go figure.
In fact I got one just a few minutes ago.

All the time. I enjoy the violation notices; they are a badge of honor; it means you really p i s s e d someone off.
