It'll be the transhumanists who do it (although atheists do tend to be well represented among transhumanists).

Technology is where our evolution will most likely lie in the future (but it could very well become more Lamackian than Darwinian).

Oh the sheer sheer irony of blue cherry pointing to global warming as where science fails since science was the reason we figured out it is happening.

Oh man, I missed the part where she mentioned the dying part. Because science isn't what extended people's lives.

Atheism is the default, religion is something learned, although those that stay atheist or otherwise reject religious teachings tend to be more accepting of the differences of others, so in a way it is more of a psychosocial evolution

I don't think so...by and large the majority of people are far too gullible and given over to wishful thinking to make widespread atheism a reality.

yeah, the evolution of science and technology are doing a great job of making the planet a better place. I guess global warming is just a myth? besides the brain is not what becomes atheist or godless, it is the soul (syn: spirit or heart)

create what ever you need for survival? why are people still dying, can science not make a brain, yet?

Sadly the religious seem to be breeding more copiously than the sane, thanks to blokes like the pope, who doesn't mind telling ignorant people to pop 'em out like rabbits.

Oh, I wish!!! Maybe in a few hundred more years, if humanity can hold out that long. Do you think brains can evolve more rapidly than physical bodies? Please, please please let it be so!

NO, they are obviously stuck in a warp, not evolving.
Their brains have calcified, & cannot accept new ideas.
The same way that we still have lots of apes around.
