In this way wouldn't christians then mirror, to the best of their ability, Christ? Forever changing this perception that most are hypocrites. Think about it even if you aren't religious. The teachings of Jesus and Proverbs are teaching of wisdom that when researched are the foundation of all other teachings. They work and if followed would create a better society.

Yes, we are supposed to try to be as Christlike as possible. But none of us can ever reach that ideal, being human. And being a Christian doesn't automatically cause you to never sin, or do something stupid, unfortunately. All we can do is try. But I agree, there are some who are very much hypocrites.

And what did man do with Jesus for living that way, they executed him! Every Christian and non-Christian have sins, period. You can consider Christians hypocritical if you want, the truth is that their sins are forgiven. Sin is the disobedience to God and a Christian is not being hypocritical for being politically incorrect. In fact a lot of political correctness goes against God.

Not his works, but yes, his words. However, his teachings are not the foundation of all other teachings.

This is true. The Bible even tells us that we are called to be perfect. We can't do it on our own - we need Christ. Either way, it is VERY hard to do. So please give consideration to those whom you call hypocrites, because they may be giving it their all. (In other words, who knows how bad they would be otherwise!)
