Right - The only way to get rid of man made global warming is to get rid of man.
Then there will be polar bear made global warming. We need to get rid of them first.
Oh wait, what about whale made global warming? Have to kill the whales as well.
Once we get rid of all life, then, and only then will the Earth be pristine and the way God intended it to be.

I dont think it is us, I think it is our tendency to over consume...everything. From food, to gas and oil, to natural products like paper and wood. If we didnt live outside our means, I think we would have been fine. But since we gotta have that new gas guzzling car, we "have" to use paper plates, we "have" to own six television sets and 4 cars, we have to take 30 minute showers, we end up screwing up everything to the point where it is not salvageable. For every person the does recycle and does do the right thing, there are hundreds and thousands more that don't. The answer to cutting back on emissions and pollution is so simple but yet so complicated b/c we are afraid of change. We have become too comfortable in living our daily lives in a way that kills our planet. I'm just as guilty as the next guy is. I don't always recycle paper or plastic. I dont drive a fuel efficient car. But I'm making the steps to do my part. And if everyone could just see the big picture, the smallest changes could bring about the greatest results.

No, our civilizations that enable us to grow beyond the capacity of our surroundings to support us are pretty fragile.
Every major civilization we've put on this planet has come and gone over time, and the declines are often due to climate and resource issues such as drought and deforestation (sound familiar?). For some intersting reading, do a search on "quaternary association" and look into the latest studies.
We'll take a lot more species with us this time, but the planet will be fine.

you are totally right. sad thing is, its too late to do anything about it. i dont even think we would have ever had the chance. but what are you gonna do, now its too late to tell people to ride a bike instead of using the car. HELL, now even riding a bike is extremely bad because of all the food you ll have to take in for energy. thats it. we are too late. lets enjoy it while we can and hopefully find some patch to heal global warming really fast, only to see another problem come up. i recommend you read the book ISHMAEL. youll have a different outlook on life. new york times bestseller.

Not in and of themselves. When we think negatively we send forth negative energy. When you are in a negative state you cannot think or do good things because your energy is aligned in a non-productive way. Just by raising this question you have generated positive energy/thought and see! It has connected with other individuals even if only by raising awareness we are starting to re-attune ourselves to a better frequency or channel. Therefore we can channel positive thought (if we so choose to do) into what we can all do as individuals to bring healing instead of "the scourge" to the Earth. But...children are a wonderful, pure source of energy that we all need.

No, humans are not the scourge of the Earth. Global warming won't wreck the Earth. However, our lifestyle change will be much more drastic if we conitinue on our course than the slight lifestyle changes required to significantly reduce our emissions.

Humans are obviously the most dangerous and destructive animal on our planet. If you pull your head out of your *** and look around you can see it for yourself. There is no other animal as dangerous and destructive as us. We evolved a brain capable of lies, murder, inventing religion to quell our fears, religious persecution, and the list goes on very long. Just look around you. We have become vastly over populated while systematically destroying every other creature in our path. Being human is nothing to be proud of. We send our overpopulated offspring to school knowing full well there will not be enough jobs for three quarters of them yet we still do lit. We tend to vote for the same leaders over and over and expect different results, that is the definition of insanity. I challenge anyone with common sense to name one other animal as stupid. greedy, hateful, etc. ,as we are. We kill innocent men, women, and children to protect oil wells so we can drive an 8 mile per gallon hummer to get groceries, and think nothing of it.

Humans are the scourge of the earth, and yet they are the saviors of it as well. We are disappointed with them and happy with their slow evolution to peace, prosperity, freedom, and a pure/rejuvenated earth.

Think about this: germs (bacteria and viruses) are the earth's antibodies. Have you noticed all the new diseases and drug resistant bacteria? Eventually the germs will overcome all the humans' defenses and the earth will rid itself of us, if we don't do it to ourselves first.
