Then you get the word SATAN. and who is shocked??? The whole Christmas and Easter thing are pagan. It was brought in by the heathens PAGINS, and brought in to the Catholic church, and thru the years has gained acceptance and credibility from the Christian world that simply does not KNOW. We are to know God and His precious word, so as not to be deceived. And look at this . PPL get gifts from the so called Santa, meaning Santa gets the credit, not God who provided the money to purchase the gifts with. So you have children all over the world so grateful to Santa for a gift, when it was their parents that bought them. Giving everyone but God and the family credit. Isnt that just like the devil? DECEPTION AND LIES> Even the pagins know this is their holiday and many will even ask why we participate in their thing. My GOsh, folks, if they get it, whats wrong with us?
Its tradition now and noone wants to give it up.
But, if we celebrate the true Holy Days of God that focuses only on GOd and all HE does for us, then we will honor Him and be blessed, as well as being a blessing to other ppl.
If you look into the Holy Days that the messianic Jews celebrate , and that will celebrate them as God has laid them out, you will see, its all about what God does for us, to keep us in full rembrance of Him. Its not about just giving gifts and getting gifts in a pagan religion, that honors all but God. You cant mix light and darkness as they dont go together. And NO I am not a JW. Way more than JW knows about these things. PPL battled against this for years and years and years, yet the pagins and catholics got it brought in and it was such FUN the ppl held onto it. Even in the Bible, there are two different references it gives to the heathen cutting down the trees and decorating them with silver and gold, and God says they will be destroyed for it. SO if it was wrong then, its wrong now. Tradition, when its not of God, is mere tradition, and needs to be tossed out asap. Lets be a nation that truly turns back to the purity of God and the holiness He calls us to.
For most ppl, Christmas is just another day off work to celebrate and party, even drinking. ITs not about God, and its surely not about Jesus His son.
We are to celebrate Jesus every single day, and nowhere in scripture does it say His b/day was ever celebrated. He wouldnt even want that. But, we can celebrate who He is and who we are in Him, every single day of the year, and all day, as we focus on HIM> and not self. Christmas has become such a day of greediness, materialism, and just another day to party and run up huge debts. That doesnt honor God.
If ppl would only study to KNOW, they would give it all up.
And , we will all be held accountible for what we tried to know.
PPl have talked about this for so long. How many will actually have the courage to risk giving up tradition, and get in and study what all of the symbols of Christmas and Easter are all about.??? ITs horrible. YEt, we as christians, so many of us will still take part in Halloween even, and it is the high holy day of devil worshippers. Whatever is fun, we hold on to.
God will hold us accountible for all of it.
We must know to not be deceived. Gods ppl are destroyed for either a lack of knowledge, or lack of vision. And if we dont have those things, we can only blame ourselves. It is all in His word, and today we not only continue to have prayer, we also even have an internet where it is easy to research such things. If its evil in origin, its wrong for us now.
I just pray ppl will see even this little word thing on Santa/Satan and begin to wonder and question and study for themselves. If it honors God, so be it. IF it dishonors God, we must let it go and be joyful to do so.
I celebrate Jesus every day, and not just the fact He was born, but that He lived the life He lived, that He was sacrified for our sins, and rose again to give us life, everlasting, and a life free from sin, not FREE TO SIN>
Grace will not cover willfull deliberate continued sin. GOD FORBID. For us to knowing participate in evil, is something that will only bring us to destruction.
For us, we will use this season to tell ppl about Jesus and the plan of salvation and bring them to rembrance of who God is and who they are in Christ.
LEts do a Happy b/day Jesus every day all year long, as we celebrate Him.
thanks for the question. and for those of you who think I am fanatic. Its ok, I forgive you. PPL thought Jesus was a fanatic as well. When we speak boldly the truths of God, they will hate you, the rebellious ppl that arent truly of God.
By their fruits we will know them says GOd, Actions/fruits...
And God says His ppl are to love rebuke, as they are to remain with a teachable Spirit.
What say you all????? Is this you??????????????????

Santa clause... isn't that the bastardization of Saint Nicholas which probably took place over the centuries of children's under developed mouths trying to wrap themselves around his name?

And now we have people with under developed minds trying to demonize a great and wholesome character out of our past. Just because you can twist anything to make it seem evil or demonic doesn't mean it is.

"Saint Nicholas (Greek: Άγιος Νικόλαος , Agios Nikolaos, "victory of the people") is the common name for Saint Nicholas, a Lycian saint and Bishop of Myra in Anatolia (in modern-day Antalya province, Turkey, though then it was a Greek-speaking Roman Province). He was born during the third century in the village of Patara. He had a reputation for secret gift-giving, but is now commonly identified with Santa Claus."

And to answer the question... Astan

Scrambling Santa would kill him. And why would you want scrambled Santa in the first place. And wouldn't it make absolutely no sense to unscramble him afterward? I mean, even if you could unscramble him, he would still be dead, right?

Satan. Didn't you know that Santa comes out of the name Saint Nick which was a name used for the devil himself? I have always thought it ODD that on one hand people use December 25th to remember the birth of Jesus Christ and on the other "Santa" whose name comes from one given for the devil.

Revelation 2:15, "So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the NICOLAITANES, WHICH THING I HATE".

The word Nicolaitanes means of Nicolas; Saint Nick?

"Which THING I hate". No, Jesus doesn't want us teaching our babies lies, nor does He want us to tell our babies that this fake has the powers which belong to God alone; who knows if you've been sleeping, knows if you're awake, knows if you've been good or bad? The answer isn't Santa. Jesus is also clothed in red, the blood he shed.

They accept Santa, but sware they'd never accept the anti-christ; ooops.

C'mon, something against Santa? Who doesn't like Santa? That's the one part of Christmas we can all agree on, even the Jews!

No hating on Santa. Won't stand for it here. Even I've got limits.
