Obaidull, Yes, Maybe you are right, that maybe, 90% of the Jamaah have better knowledge than the 'exchange Imams' from cities/rural area in Vietnam/ PhilipinesMalaysia,China. But the purpose for them to be in Saudi or Mid East countries is to LEARN & get greater knowledge & exposure there.

Immigrants? Not really a problem since the Body & its branches worldwide together with the local aurhorities will arrange the entire programs, i.e. imams stays, visa lodging & all.

Good Imams from poor places will think of how to improve things for their own societies as what he had experienced, or at least the importance of cleanliness & good mentalities.

Let them experience the stay & try to make a change. If they are not given the chance, they do not know where they stand & we do not know their difficulties.

We want greater advanced ummah, we ought to look at our entire ummah. Do not ever let them persuaded by the Christian missioanaires, (like in Indonesia) who lure them to convert or go to church by providing basic needs like detergent & food.

The program will get feedbacks & understand in-depth about our Muslim societies all over the world.

It is a matter of, "do we care or we don't care".

Wonderful idea! Well, yes, as you say, very difficult to put through. But it is worth trying to organise it on a smaller level, the idea could grow from there. Perhaps starting within certain organisations, then making more links from there. I think it is a bit unrealistic to hope to organise an institution for this - one might have success by connecting "compatible" (too bad this has to be said) Islamic organisations in different countries. It is great, I can´t imagine what would speak against it, other than that in some mosques the imam is responsible for almost everything (from prayers to teaching Kuran to youth groups to hospital visits/social counselling to finances to you name it). In this case it could be difficult for someone with little knowledge of the language/community requirements to fill in sufficiently. But in those where jobs are shared, it would be possible.

From Saudi Arabia to Malaysia or Indonesia... Maybe... It won't work the other way around because it would probably happen that 90% of jam'at is more knowledgeable than imam.

You should also think what you will feed your Arab. You can't expect the imam to live on shrimps and chilli for 3 months. Why would an Arab want to learn your culture? Isn't it Islam that matters?

Only thing I would do is go there and forbid you your preislamic traditions. Arab imams won't unite Umma because they themselves are not unite. There is no pride in being an Arab, it is Islam that made Arabs important.

Edit: Arabs are far from perfect but it's not likely going to work. If you want educated Arabs to come to your place there is only one way to do it, it worked in Western countries, it will work for you also: open up your borders for Muslim immigrants. There are many poor Muslims from Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, Central Asia, Africa, who are searching for a better life (or at keast more money), you get them and imams will come eventually, not just for 3 months but permamently.

Edit: We care, but do "our" governments care? They rule by law of Taghout. In Islam there is no nation and no tribe. If all people embrace that you have solved the problem of your community.

And I don't think a non-Arab who is not well-learned can stand working with an Arab Jama'a, it's difficult. You need to know Arabs then you will understand why I said so.

OIC won't fund that, OIC is a big lie. they need money to fill their pockets, they are bunch of thieves and liars.

Well bro, based on most of the answers above me (actually 2 of 3), doesn't it answer the question of why Muslims can never be united?

No it is Bid'a haram how dare you, you are mushrik, you are not muslim, how dare you!!!!!!!!!!!

When you heard of it, why did not the believing men and believing women think well of their own people and say, 'This is a manifest lie?' (Al-Nur Chapter 24 : Verse 13)
