You know what John had in common with Jesus? Both of them spoke their truth about oppressors - both government and religion - and both were killed because of it. I'm thinking that John was a lot more like Jesus than most of his self proclaimed worshipers are.

We're not obsessed with him. We just admire his beautiful ideas of unity among people. There's nothing wrong with world peace. I didn't realize that was an un-Christian idea.
