If you just call her ungrateful, you are being honest. If you call her an ungrateful "Korean lady", you sound racist, and she will ignore why you are calling her ungrateful and just hear that you are being racist. After all, what does her being Korean or a lady have to do with her being ungrateful?

She should not have done that. But, two wrongs don't make a right. You be the bigger person. I know it hurt, that she actually threw your homemade gift in the trash. Yes, she is very ungrateful, it is not necessary to bring her race into the picture.
You can simply tell her, that you saw what she did with your gift, and how much it hurt your feeling. That she should have found out who accidentally left their lunch before she threw it in the trash.

be cool, don't say that she's an ungrateful korean lady, just go up to her and say something like "Mrs -insertnamehere-,i happened to see something really similar looking to the gift i HAND MADE for you in the trash. You know,I really put lots of effort in that gift, and if you don't appreciate it,YOUR LOSS." Say it at the end of the day after class ends, and walk off before she can say anything.

I wouldn't label her ungrateful "Korean" lady; maybe just ungrateful but her ethnicity doesn't have anything to do with it. If you feel that offended, just go up to her and ask her nicely why she threw your gift away. Maybe someone put it in there or it got knocked. If not, just wrap up some dog or cat poo in a small box and leave it on her desk when no one else is in the room and don't leave a gift tag on it.

A gift is what it is ....a gift. Whatever someone chooses to do with it after it is gifted is up to them. Sorry the teacher chose to trash it, but you have no issue with her just as you wouldn't with a best friend or family member. Just because you thought it was a great gift does not mean the receiver did. They can do with it what they please or not.

What does her being Korean have to do with it?
If she's ungrateful tell her how you felt. There's no reason to bring in her nationality.

awww, I'm so sorry!
That must have hurt!
How about you go about asking her/telling her, in a bit more subtle way...ask her, "So, Ms. So-and-so, I came to get my lunch the other day, and I saw that the gift I had given you was in the trash. What happened to it?"
When I was a teacher, my students often gave me gifts (bless their hearts!). Regardless of what I thought of those gifts, I never tossed them into the garbage because I loved them and appreciated them :)

I understand why you would be upset but sometimes it's better to just learn from it and let it go. I don't see how it would help you by confronting her. It just might cause more tension. Choose your battles in life and don't let everything get to you.
