No it is a condition. You don't catch it. You set yourself up for it with poor diet, poor hygene, and bad habits. You will be more susceptive during your growth years, but it is still under your control.pp

yes. but it is not caused by dirt & grease, contrary to majority belief.
we have glands under out skin called sebaceous glands, which produce an oil called sebum. this oil prevents excess water getting into our skin and dehydrating it.
clearasil and proactiv push the impurities below the skin, and contain harmful chemicals to the skin, and also commonly stain face washers and other towels.
acne is a common skin condition among teens, and even adults.
you cannot cure it by reducing the sebum flow, but over a long period of time by 'detoxifying' or cleansing out the impurities.
do you have an aloe vera plant at home? if not then get one and put on your entire face twice or more daily.
poor diet can contribute to it. excercise is also really great, because when you sweat you are removing toxins from your body. there are many other natural, cheap, home made remedies for acne that you can find on the internet. do a google search for 'natural acne remedies' or 'homemade acne treatments' or 'home made acne cleansers' etc.
