hike across the state?

witch state would be the best one to hike across country with out running in to major citys the most remote ones

In California, you can do that if you stick to the Sierra-Nevada mountain range.

Right now, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming are white! Not good for hiking. : )

Sounds like a great idea.
