Male, under 6 months, unless the pictures (or my eyes) are very bad. Based on color of eyes, which looks dark to me and cere, which looks purplish to me.

decrease back to budgie sexing business enterprise for each guy or woman who stated female as they are incorrect. additionally incorrect is somebody who stated the cere could turn blue if it was a boy. First seem on the budgie kind as many styles of budgies cere by no skill turn blue if a boy and that's unquestionably considered one of them. those that stated this could be a lutino are additionally incorrect. A lutino has purple eyes and NO MARKINGS. This chicken is a flippantly marked recessive pied and IS A MALE budgie. If a female its cere could be whitish from toddler to 5 months or so. If older at around 5-8 months of age whilst a cere ameliorations shade...if a female it may pass brownish, if a male it may save the colour that is now.

Your budgie is a female, Female budgies will have a light colour on the top of the beak, and a male budgie has a dark blue colour until is gets a little older, then it will turn a lighter blue. All male budgies will have a darker colour on top of the beaks

It looks to me like female. You can tell by their cere, the area around their nostrils. If it is tan or whitish, even creamy, it is female. Blue or purplish is male. However, up to around 8-10 weeks, all budgies have tanish ceres. It's when they get to that age when they get their cere permanent marks.
She looks like she's around 1, 1 1/2, maybe even 2 years old. You can tell the age by the bars leading up to the cere on their head. The less bars, the older. The more bars, the younger.
Hope this helps.
Btw, she looks gorgeous! And in excellent health.

That bird looks just like the male that my brother used to have, Petey. You can't depend on the color of the cere, I thought I bought a male twice, by using the color theory, but got females both times, but both were such sweet birds, who cares, unless you are breeding them.

Yes.
You have a gal on your hands. you can tell by the "nose" above thier beak if it brown/beige = a gal , blue = a boy. So you have a girl named rocky! ha but yeah she still looks pretty young. no real signs of age you can tell with a parakeet though.
