I only drink like maybe 2 or 3 times a year. And always after just one drink I have a really bad migraine that makes me sick and I have to go to bed.

Some people cannot drink alcohol (especially red wine) or smoke without getting migraines, period. The only solution is to avoid them. They are migraine triggers for you.

I think anything can trigger a migraine, my daughter gets them frequently. But I think one of the biggest stressers is probably stress. Your title is 'Army Wife', is it safe for me to presume that your husband may be deployed there where we don't want to go? If so I would say that this may be a big contributor to your migraines especially if you have small children in the family. On both of my son's tours in Iraq my wife suffered from debilitating head aches that there was no over the counter cure for.
