My little sister (13) overdosed on pills, she took about 15 of each. They took her to the hospital and won't tell me anything. What'll happen to her, and how serious is it?

They probably pumped her stomach and she'll be fine...unless she was unconscious for a long period of time. They may want to talk to your parents first. The bigger concern are the psychological aspects...she's very young and it seems like a serious attempt..she needs intense help right away. And you may be considered too young to be involved right away. I hope everything turns out OK...just give her your love and understanding once they let you in to see her.

She will probably be fine. She may have her stomach pumped (which is not a pleasant process for the patient). She may be placed in the psychiatric ward since she attempted to overdose. Because of attempting an overdose, she may be considered a danger to herself and some states allow medical professionals to commit a patient to a psychiatric ward against her will if she is a danger to herself or others.

i am sorry but the answers u have recd are not accurate. yes depending on how long the meds were in her system does make a difference. so this question is hard to answer. however these are very dangerous drugs taken in high quantities. if you take enough and it is not caught right away, the most like end result is renal failure ie kidney. if it is that bad they would use dialysis

She's going to be sick as heck, leave her along she'll be O.K., they may want to look inside her head, figuratively, and see what's bothering her. She seems to have a problem/
