Jesus(Greek). Well the Anglicized version of his Greek name. The bible was written in Greek, so why not call him by his Greek name? Your avatar is very un-Christlike and it's making me have lustful thoughts, bud=).

Yeshua is the Hebrew name, and its English spelling is “Joshua.” Iesous is the Greek transliteration of the Hebrew name, and its English spelling is “Jesus.” Thus, the names Joshua and Jesus are essentially the same; both are English pronunciations of the Hebrew and Greek names for the Lord. Right Yehsua ( Amariac ) -- - - Yehoshua ( Hebrew ) - - - - Jesus ( English ). Some of don't normally speak Amariac or Hebrew , but a few of us do speak a pretty good English. Did you know that Yehsua 's name is Jesus in English ?

Do you know what 'Jesus' means in hebrew/greek? That is interesting too!
And did you know the Jewish people were so afraid to mispronounce God's name that most often they would only write it down verses speaking it out loud....
I can break down Jesus name in one easy word "God"......

"Jesus" is how you say his name in English. It has been so for more than a thousand years and comes into English from Greek through Latin. You can call him what you like but if you want English speaking people to know who you are talking about, give him his correct name in English which is "Jesus".

Isaiah 7:14-16 (KJV) Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin* (Heb=young girl) shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel* (*not “Jesus”!). Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil (Jesus[?] in need to learn how to refuse EVIL!?), and choose the good. For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
After this “virgin” lady gives birth the boy is quite a little devil and needs to learn to reject EVIL and choose to do good! This is mentioned twice in the Bible! Please correct me if I am wrong! Christians have another story! They say that Isaiah is out of context!
