Hi. I had 10 hamsters when I was younger. I think if it concerns you, you could take him to the vet. My parents made fun of me for being so upset over a hamster (apparently, they performed surgery on the poor thing >>), but that's just me.

Good luck!

Your hamster needs to see a veterinarian asap a growth occuring that fast is serious and unusual even if it was cancer or another serious disease. A veterinarian may be able to remove it.

It should not be looked over even if it does not seem to be bothering him now a large growth can drain his body of needed nutrients and energy a grape is big compared to a dwarf hamster so it will take alot of energy and nutrients to support it and chances are it will keep growing!!
Hamster almost certainly has cancer, which is not that uncommon for the poor little things. They are so small its difficult to operate on them, but you should still ask your vet. If nothing else, your vet will be able to euthanasia her in a humane manner once it starts to be unbearable for the hamster.

If you notice the hamster is doing anything wrong, (like it is right now), you better go see a vet. If you don't go quickly, it can die. Sorry, I don't know what this is, but go to a vet as quick as possible. Schedule your vet appointments at Petsmart, or Petco. The vets will ask you a lot of questions, so make sure you describe everything carefully so the vet understands what you are trying to say. Bring your hamster too.

i might communicate on your mom approximately contacting the vet. If mom would not opt to place funds into your hamster, in simple terms have her ask questions over the telephone, and notice what they are asserting. If she's not homestead, you could look up the variety for the community vet and ask them the questions your self. tell them you basically have some questions and that they are going to frequently be fantastically efficient. whilst mom gets back, see if she'll allow you to're taking your hammy in. you in all probability won't be able to be too careful. Having him checked could want that might assist you diagnose something or a minimum of ease your sense of right and incorrect. desire i've got helped!!
