Anyone have any tips on getting in shape for the physical requirements of Westpoint Military Academy?

If so, please let me know, I am out of shape and I have a couple years before I apply.
I am good with the Academics...

Any other Tips?

I used to do the academy physically fitness testing back in the early 90's. We had the applicants do pushups, situps and especially chin-ups (they were the hardest for the kids to do). They also have a shuttle run (agility) which needs to be worked on.

I recommend that since its a "whole person" evaluation that you also have a sports and club background. Yes it helps to be the Captain of a football team, but being president of the Science Club is just as good.

Good Luck!
