i am going on an interview, and they want a copy of my resume.

Hi -

You should always include a cover letter any time you do not personally give the resume to the person interviewing you. However, in this case just the resume should be sufficient. Do make sure you mail or e-mail the person the next day, thank them for their time and briefly explain why you are the perfect candidate for the position.

No, you do not need a cover letter to go to an interview, only your resume. A cover letter is only required when you are sending out resumes and want to highlight your area of interest and expertise to entice the company to call you. You have already been called for the interview. You should always bring a copy of your resume to an interview even though you sent it for consideration. Don't assume the interviewer has the info in front of him or her and you need it to speak to your history.

Dear,
Since u r already going for interview on the basis resume already u had submitted by email or fax as the case may be,now they required a copy of the same as such no cover letter is required at this moment.

no, i believe that would only be for a mailed or faxed resume
